One-on-one coaching
How I work with athletes
We start with what the athlete wants to change, build a small set of mental skills around it, then adjust as the season goes on. Sessions are 30 minutes and held virtually.
Session 1
Start with the goal
What the athlete wants to change, and what is in the way.
Early sessions
Build the skills
A small set of mental skills, taught and rehearsed together.
Between sessions
Practice in real training
The athlete tries the skills in practice.
Through the season
Adjust as it changes
Schedules shift and so does the plan.

Areas we can work on together
Confidence and self-belief
Belief that holds up on a bad day, not just a good one.
Nerves and pressure
Tools for the moments right before and during competition.
Focus and concentration
Holding attention through long meets and long games.
Mental blocks
Working through skills that have started to feel stuck.
Goal setting and motivation
Goals worth chasing, broken into this week.
Resilience after setbacks
Recovering from a mistake without carrying it forward.
Competition preparation
Routines for warmup, between events and the start.
Positive mindset and self-talk
Changing what an athlete says to themselves under pressure.
Sessions are virtual
Coaching is held over video, so it fits around practice, school and travel. Families get session details and links ahead of time.
