For athletes and parents
You already train your body. Train the rest of it.
Hit it in practice and lose it at a meet? Carry one mistake through the rest of the game? That is the part we work on.
Sound familiar?
Practice goes great, then competition feels different.
One mistake stays in my head the rest of the day.
I know the skill, but my body will not go for it.
I care so much that I tighten up when it counts.
My focus drifts in long meets and long games.
I am hard on myself in a way that is not helping.
Under 18? The first session can be just you, or you and a parent — your choice. A parent or guardian does need to sign a consent form before we can meet.
For parents and guardians
What to expect before you reach out
Your athlete learns to steady their nerves, hold their focus and recover from a rough performance. Nothing starts until they are on board.
Your athlete has to want it
The first session can be the athlete alone or the two of you together, and part of its purpose is making sure coaching is something they want to do.
Coaching is not therapy
Sessions build performance skills. If your athlete needs clinical care, Sophia will tell you.
Sessions fit around the season
Virtual, 30 minutes, and easy to fit between practice and school.
